Our accounts are all audited externally, in Vietnam, Cambodia, Belgium and France. The financial reports and audit reports are displayed online immediately after being approved by our general assembly.
We publish bulletins twice a year which give a detailed account about how the funds are used. We like to mention our successes but also our failures! This must be shared so that everyone could benefit.

Every donation has a huge multiplication effect. Indeed we receive cofunding, for which we must produce our share (your donations) to obtain the support of the co-funder. Besides most institutions specify precisely how the funds must be used. Like money for the loan but not to support the training and follow-up, collect the refunds...
Governments support us in proportion of the private funds we collect
This allows us to multiply private donations fourfold or more!
But for this we need sufficient private donations in time, in France and in Belgium. There is no such matching for donations received in Vietnam.
Many institutional donors do not fund salaries or petrol for the motorcycles
Our salaries are amongst the lowest, but without an agronomist, without the village workers, the co-funding will be useless!
We do not 'assist'; we work together
Train a quilter, so that for many years she will earn enough to cover the expenses for the education of her children. And any profit generated from the sales of her quilts will fund social programs run by Mekong Plus!
