In every society a number of people suffer from various disabilities. In the villages where we work hundreds of children were not sent to, or not allowed in school because "she does not remember anything", "he does not understand", or "he must be carried up to there, he cannot walk"...






















































Basic computer skills is part of the program in secondary school, but most rural schools do not have... computers! The children learn by taking notes from the blackboard. Viêt Nam Plus provides seconhand, reconditioned computers.
Before building toilets, attitudes must change. So many schools have toilets which are just really... unapproachable! Mekong Plus helps the schools who have tried the hardest, with a co-financing for better sanitation facilities.
Health education is part of the curriculum in Vietnamese primary schools. However, children were usually requested to learn the lessons by heart, at home. Most of them did not even have a tooth brush!
Most schools have no general library nor books. Mekong Plus offers to support to cover 50% of the costs -as we always insist on a local contribution.
