In spite of its progress? The title may appear provocative, but Vietnam has reached the stage when aid is reduced, because of its fast development. There are 3 good reasons to continue :  

• We estimate that 10% of the population still live in great poverty. Which represents nearly 9 millions eople, that’s a lot!

• In many countries, where there isn’t a big will of the state to reduce poverty and injustices, we must fight to help the resourceless peoples. In Vietnam, on the contrary,the authorities facilitate the task (it could still be better) and help to well target the help. The governmental programs are also a precious help.

• Reduce help in Vietnam because it works well? It is necessary on the contrary to reward the countries and partners who shows some results. And when the Vietnamese experience can inspire work in other countries.
