The international money-lenders are about ten: the French, Belgian Cooperation, luxemburg etc. but also private foundations. Most have an engagement on 3 or 5 years. Generally they finance 30 to 80% of the proposed budget, the rest being covered by private grants.
Most have an engagement on 3 or 5 years. To get an institutional financing often takes several years. The use of funds and deadlines are fixed in advance. Many NGOs function solely with institutional financings, which makes the local teams totally financially dependant. When a financing stops or takes a break, it is necessary to dismiss experienced teams, to interrupt school support or even health treatments!

Our the programs are financed therefore by at least 3 different lessors. The lessors finance at least 3 different programs. It permits to maintain the non-negotiable priority for the recipients.
