Our association is as much present in France (Law 1901 association, founded in 1994) as in Belgium (association without lucrative goal, founded in 2003 following actions led in Belgium since 2000). The given goal is the communal development in farming zones, with 3 guiding principles:

• Aiming at the poorest, whose yearly income doesn't reach 100€; (about 1€/day/household).

We didn't invent anything, we simply take our mission at heart. No office in city, all teams live in the villages. We like a lot the words of Lao Tseu, Chinese philosopher (700 AC):

Go toward people
Live with them
Learn from them
Like them!
Begin with what they know

In 1994 Gilberte DO-HUU and Robert EBERHARDT visited Vietnam and notably the work of This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and Thanh TRUONG (his wife). Friends: they knew each other from the time in « frères de Hommes » (NGO), Gilberte and Robert in France, Bernard in Bangladesh...

At the beginning, Vietnam Plus only had only one small project, Tiên Thành. But little by little the project number increased, the local team in Vietnam enlarged: it accounts today more than 110 people and leads 4 large programs.
